Supplements

The best supplements are derived from real foods. Wouldn’t you much rather eat a piece of organic dried apple vs some chemically enhanced powder with artificial flavours called apple candy?

There are a few things that I know of that makes exclusion zone water (structured water) in our bodies:

  • Turmeric
  • Holy Basil
  • Ghee

Holy Basil can be grown yourself and if you take Ghee, remember to take a spoonful at the beginning of each meal to line your stomach.

Ghee is simply clarified butter. Yes, you can get it at most grocery stores but you can also just make it at home. Look it up on YouTube, there’s lots of how to videos on this subject. All you have to do is boil a few sticks of butter in a pot and skim the foam that rises up which leaves you with clarified butter – a nice clear golden looking liquid.

Turmeric is great fresh and you can get even more value from it by fermentation. If you already do your own kraut or kimchi fermentation, you can simply bury your turmeric root in the same container and let it ferment which will enhance its bioavailability.

I like using the following:

  • Fermented Turmeric Powder: powder will always give you the biggest value for your money. You can add this to your smoothie or soups.
  • Fermented Turmeric Pills: good to have on hand for easy access.
